Privacy
A short summary of how Offbeat treats your information.
Your email stays private
It’s used to sign you in and for messages about your account. It never appears on your profile, your ad or in a chat.
Only a general area
You pick a state and city from a list. Offbeat never uses GPS and never shows anyone’s exact location.
You decide who sees each photo
Every photo is Clear, Blurred or Only me. A blurred photo opens only for a match you reveal it to, and you can take a reveal back at any time.
No ID needed
You give your birthday to confirm you’re 18 or over. People see your age, never your birthday.
On a shared computer
A browser sign-in ends when you close the browser or after 30 minutes away, unless you choose to stay signed in. Offbeat can also cover itself when you switch to another tab or window.
Deleting means deleting
When you delete your account, your profile and ad go straight away and the rest of your data within 30 days. Reports still under review are kept separately.
This is a summary. The full privacy notice will be published here before Offbeat launches.
